Yulia Shaforostova is an artist based in Krasnodar. In addition to her individual practice, she is a member of the "Businki" Art Cooperative. She is an alumna of the "Photo Artist" course at the Tipografiya Center for Contemporary Art (Krasnodar, 2015), the Khmel and Sukhoveeva School of Photography (Krasnodar, 2017), and the Krasnodar Institute of Contemporary Art (2018). She has participated in the 2nd Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art (Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow, 2020) and over 20 group and solo exhibitions in Krasnodar, Moscow, Novorossiysk, Kursk, Zheleznogorsk, and St. Petersburg.
